![]() I wish ACDSee would write a lens calibration data creation module for LensFun database it would be one heck of a popular plugin if they did. Vignette correction data is actually sporadically available as the creation of good source images is a bit more cumbersome than the other 2 types. ![]() Not all lens corrections have all three types of correction data available. This includes: Distortion, Transverse Chromatic Aberration (TCA) and Vignette. I suggested ACDSee to have 3 check boxes, which depending on the lens selected would give the option to apply LensFun correction selectively. ![]() For instance, it isn't clear to me if vignetting correction (if/when available) is being applied. In my thread about lens correction I posted an updated data file for MILC Olympus cameras/lenses, which fixes a number of issues, and I am currently communicating with ACDSee developers on that to hopefully fix some bugs too in the process. There hasn't been an "official release" of the LensFun database in years as far as I am aware of, but the open source database is still regularly updated with new lens profiles by community developers on GitHub (the last update of the mil-sony.xml data file was 11 days ago, but the A7IV hasn't been added to the list yet, but that takes as little as one min to add, it's an easy fix), but it is up to the end users to package it whenever they want to get the latest iteration and ACDSee can do that anytime it wishes.
